Google Chrome team has announced about its new mode called “Data Saver mode” to help Google Chrome users on Android save more internet data. According to Google Chrome team, this mode can save up to 70% of your internet data by removing images when opening a page on a slow network connection. After the page has been loaded, hit “Show all images” to display all images which will make internet surfing faster with a low cost.
However, the Data Saver mode option is only available for Google Chrome users in India and Indonesia first. The mode will be available in other country’s within a few months.
How to enable data saver mode on android?
Go to the Google Chrome Menu, and then Settings
Under Advanced, hit Data Saver
Slide the switch to On
